This fight features a PvP style boss encounter. you will face 10 NPCs of the opposing faction, each consisting of approximately 2 million hitpoints each. The setup changes from raid ID to raid ID, but it seems consistent in that there are always 3 healers, with the other 7 obtaining some sort of DPS spec for their class. There are no normal threat mechanics during this fight, so DPS will often jump around to different targets, switching every so often. There is no set strategy for the fight, so it becomes imperative that everyone stays coordinated.
NPCS will use most if not all of their class respective spells, especially crowd control ones. The raid leader should mark the healers up accordingly, as well as any classes that they want CCed. A great strategy is to put a melee class that can interrupt on each healing class, while the rest of the DPS focuses on 1 healer at a time (a resto druid becomes quite the nuisance as his heals are mostly instant casts and cannot be locked down, thus he should either be the first one focused or major CC directed at him). The 2 tanks should concentrate on kiting the warrior/death knight/rogue and/or taunting any of the faction champs that focus on one of the healers/clothies. Dispelling is a must. DoTs and HoTs should be immediately dispelled. Also, paladins Divine Shield/Hand of Sacrifice needs to be dispelled.
